I have done all kinds of work over the years but am now convinced that historical renovation is the trickiest. Solving unforeseen conditions, chasing water infiltration, reconciling Federal Department of Interior guidelines with local building codes and other day-to-day crisis make it easy to lose the sight of the purpose of the project -to make a beautiful high-quality building that is functional, affordable and on time.

Your company, with David as project manager and DJ as superintendent make a team that any architect would want to have on a project. Every problem the team encountered, your group worked hard to find a practical, affordable solution. I commend you, your staff, and subcontractors, for your exemplary work on this project. I hope your company shares our pride in bringing new life to a building that should last another century. We worked well as a team on a significant project.
