Dear Mr. Golden:

This letter is to commend Golden & Associates for their outstanding work on the Jefferson County Personnel Board renovation project. There were many unusual challenges involved in the project which Golden & Associates readily addressed. The Personnel Board is located on several floors in the 2121 Building and it was imperative that the office space remained occupied and functional throughout the renovation process. All work was efficiently coordinated and performed with limited ability to relocated personnel while maintaining the offices in a fully operational state. These challenges, plus the advanced age of the building and the aggressive scheduling demands, rendered this project particularly difficult. Frequent joint meetings were held among the contractors, subcontractors and Jefferson County which resulted in a step-by-step interactive process that resulted in close attention to detail and high quality work. Mr. Marcial Mendez, project manager, did an outstanding job with the management, phasing and scheduling of subcontractors. He, along with Brad Condray, superintendent, did an excellent job in setting goals and priorities and their expertise and professionalism brought this complicated project to a successful conclusion.
