Golden & Associates Construction, LLC Ground Breaking Ceremony for New Tarrant Middle/High School

Birmingham, Ala., Jul 11, 2008 – Golden & Associates will break ground this month on the new Tarrant Middle/High School.The $17 million, 112,000 SF school will feature 36 classrooms, a competition gym and a physical education gym. The project is scheduled to be complete in November 2009. McElrath & Oliver Architects out of Gadsden, Alabama designed the project.
The project is located on Black Creek Road, on a 98 acre site that once was home to a mental health facility.

Tarrant schools Superintendent Dr. Martha P. Rizzuto states, “The building of a new middle/high school for Tarrant marks a new beginning for the students of Tarrant. Our current high school is 90+ years old.Tarrant has never had a new high school until now.
