Birmingham, Ala., December 14, 2005 - Golden & Associates Construction, LLC is putting the final touches on ServisFirst Bank's downtown branch located in the former Jefferson Title Building on the corner of Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. and Fourth Avenue North. This premier 2,200 square feet space was completely demolished and built-out to include a banking area, private offices and a break room. An African mahogany wall and detailed mahogany millwork is the focal point of the space, while granite countertops add to the luxurious details of the bank. The building's original terrazzo flooring as well as the exterior canopy was restored, and replica pendant lighting was installed to give the space a hint of nostalgia. The $400,000 project is set to be complete this weekend, just in time for the branch's grand opening scheduled for Monday, December 19. This is ServisFirst’s second branch. Mike Smith is the project manager and Mitch Booher is the Superintendent. Giattina Fisher Aycock Architects, Inc. is the architect firm for the project.

Smith states, “We are excited to be a part of the continued growth of ServisFirst Bank.” Booher adds, “We encountered a few obstacles during the twelve week schedule, and with the help of ServisFirst Bank and Giattina Fisher Aycock Architects, we provided solutions for difficulties encountered. The project is a success for Golden & Associates Construction.”

This past spring, Golden & Associates Construction renovated ServisFirst Bank's headquarters on Highway 280 and Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The startup bank first opened in May of this year and has plans to add another branch in 2006 at the corner of U.S. Highway 280 and Alabama 119.
