Golden & Associates Construction to build LAH Real Estate's new office in Homewood

Birmingham, Ala., October 3, 2005 - Golden & Associates Construction was recently awarded the contract for LAH Real Estate's new office in downtown Homewood. Located at the corner of Oxmoor Road and 18th Street, the new brick and hand-rubbed stucco building will feature approximately 6,000 sq. ft. of office space spanning over two floors. Interior features will include a stained concrete floor, open office and reception areas with 22 feet high ceilings, and a high-tech conference room. A slate roof will top the new building's exterior, which will complement downtown Homewood's main street charm. Giattina Fisher Aycock is the project architect.

Demolition began in September on LAH's old office building to make way for the new building's construction scheduled to begin this month. The duration for the project will be five months.
