Golden & Associates has office renovation and parking deck underway for Infinity Insurance Company.

Birmingham, Ala., April 11, 2007 - Interior demolition is under way to renovate office space for Infinity Insurance Company's call center operations. The 130,000 sq. ft., two-story building is located off Overton Road in River Run Village near Liberty Park. Infinity Insurance is expanding their operations to move their call center from their current headquarters located in the Colonnade Office Park. The renovation will include demolishing the interior offices and transforming the space into large open work areas for cubicles that Infinity will use for their call center staff. Approximately 600 Infinity employees will occupy the space. Golden & Associates is design-building the mechanical, electrical and plumbing portions of the work. Allison Harsh with Ray Harsh Design is the interior designer for the project.

To accommodate parking for the 600 future employees, Golden & Associates Construction negotiated a contract with Infinity to design-build a two level parking deck next to the building. The 73,000 sq. ft. parking deck will be on 2 elevated concrete slabs built above the existing asphalt parking lot. The design will include a cast-in-place concrete frame with safety barrier cables and brick veneer. Golden & Associates is working with Williams Blackstock Architects on the project.

Both projects are slated to be complete in August 2007.

In 2005, Golden & Associates Construction renovated Infinity's 140,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Colonnade Office Park and also built Infinity's concrete tilt-up storage warehouse in Bessemer.
