Birmingham, Ala., Nov. 06, 2007 - On November 2, 2007, Golden & Associates Construction, LLC received the Contractor of the Year Award along with four Excellence in Construction awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors Alabama Chapter at the annual ABC Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. The Contractor of the Year award was the final award given at the banquet and was unannounced prior to event. This honor recognizes Golden & Associates Construction's for their contribution to ABC and the merit shop process. This was the premier year for the prestigious award.

The Excellence in Construction awards recognized Golden & Associates' commitment to excellence on their construction projects. Golden & Associates' Excellence awards were for the following projects:

Excellence Award in Historical Restoration - $2 to $10 million
