English Village Retail/Office Building

Golden & Associates was selected by Birmingham Realty Company to construct a signature building in historic English Village. The site had significant logistical challenges requiring coordination with the adjacent property owners. Elaborate foundation systems were utilized to overcome poor soil conditions and proximity issues relating to the adjacent buildings. The building structure is load bearing masonry and structural steel. The exterior of the building is ornately detailed face brick and limestone. The roof has a modified bituminous membrane with Mansard roof trusses clad with a copper roof system around the perimeter.
