The Ridge Club

The Ridge is one of Russell Lands' premiere gated lake front communities on beautiful Lake Martin. The Ridge Club is located in the heart of the community to provide residents a centralized location to gather for fellowship, relaxation and recreation. The 15,000 sq. ft. clubhouse is nestled on 10 acres along with pools, tennis courts, an entertainment lawn, and three amenity buildings.

The clubhouse and amenity buildingsare all wood frame structures. The heavy timber corbels, hardy siding, cedar shutters, stone details, and wrap around porch enhance the craftsman style beauty of the building. The lower level of the building includes a fitness area with state-of-the-art equipment. The upper level includes a gallery, display room, conference room, great room, lounge, bar and card room. 24 ft. high vaulted ceilings with tongue and groove detail and a see through fire place highlight the interior design. Cypress wood stile and rail wainscoting and reclaimed wide plank wood flooring add a warm lodge feel. Custom made wrought iron chandeliers serve as the center piece in the great room, gallery and lounge.

The exterior focal point is the two saline pools with a natural rock waterfall connecting the two. The saline pools have zero entry areas and fountains to create a family friendly swimming environment.

Quality control was key to the success of this project. The vast amount of elaborate millwork, reclaimed hardwood floors, and sophisticated hardscape finishes required all subcontractors and vendors to work in close concert with the project team.
