Giattina Fisher Aycock Architects Office

This 10,000 sq. ft. space includes private offices, multiple conference rooms, reception area, break room, a large open drafting area and a separate materials library. Some of the unique interior design features include granite flooring, floating gypsum board ceilings, custom steel-framed windows and custom fabricated steel and wood drafting furniture. Large, wood-framed, store front windows were used on the exterior walls closest to the roadways to keep consistent with the historic renovation of the building.

Before construction began, Golden & Associates spent months working directly with the architect and subcontractors analyzing different finish materials, design aspects and details to create the highest quality product within a very tight budget.

One of the challenges this project presented was the schedule. From the beginning, everyone on the construction team was aware that the schedule would be aggressive because of the project's intricate design elements. To ensure the project would remain on schedule, Golden & Associates conducted weekly scheduling meetings with every team member from the very inception of the design until GFA occupied the space.
