Constangy Brooks & Smith Law Office

Constangy Brooks & Smith, LLC, one of the nation's leading law offices for labor and employment law, needed a larger space to accommodate their growing Birmingham satellite office. The partners chose a 9,000 sq. ft. space located on the ninth floor of One Federal Place, a premier Class A office building in the heart of downtown Birmingham.

Golden & Associates transformed the open space into thirteen attorney offices, two conference rooms and additional offices for administrative staff. Highlights of the space include a large breakroom, file storage room, custom built reception desk and ornate mahogany wood paneling in the lobby and conference areas.

The build-out ran on a twelve week schedule; however, Constangy Brooks & Smith needed to move in several weeks early. Golden & Associates was able to accommodate them by accelerating the schedule for areas of the office critical to conducting their day to day operations. After eight weeks of construction, Golden & Associates obtained a certificate of occupancy, allowing them to occupy the space four weeks early. The final weeks of the project were spent completing the high finish areas of the office.
