Alabama Independent Insurance Agents
In order to better serve independent insurance agents, the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents Association wanted a new headquarters that would allow them to have their offices and educational trainings under one roof. AIIA, the state's oldest and largest association dedicated to property and casualty insurance, contracted Golden & Associates Construction to build the new 10,000 sq. ft. building to take the century old company into their next 100 years of business.
AIIA is dedicated to ensuring the continued success of independent agents and offers award-winning continuing education courses and conferences throughout the year. Having to spend money to rent conference rooms before, their new building has a state-of-the-art classroom that seats over 150 people. A breakroom situated just off of the classroom allows food to be stored and prepared for agents attending the workshops. A quiet, landscaped patio area located off the back of the building offers space for employees as well as class participants to relax in between workshop sessions.
The building also houses a printroom where AIIA prints their literature and marketing materials to send out to insurance agents throughout the state. Administrative offices and a reception area complete the building's traditionally decorated interior.
