Emergency Pet Care Clinic

Several veterinary specialists and eight emergency pet care vets combined their practices to create this unique 8,000+ SF facility that operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. During regular business hours, EPC schedules special cases including cardiac evaluation, orthopedic care, behavioral analysis, as well as dermatology for its varied customers. The structural steel and masonry building functions as an emergency clinic after hours and on the weekends. The examination rooms and operating areas serve both functions well. Interior finishes include exposed electrical and mechanical systems as well as concrete counters at the reception area and natural finish cypress walls that carry the exterior details inside. Stained concrete floors provide a rich depth of color and offer lasting durability due to the high volume of use. The project was completed in 5 months.
