2600 Highland Condominiums
2600 Highland is an 11-story building containing eight levels of high-end condominiums above a three level parking deck. A pool area, fitness center, and plaza area were also included in the project. The 43 condos have one, two, and three bedroom floor plans that range in size from 1,200 sq. ft. to 2,500 sq. ft. Each unit has its own balcony and 10 ft. tall ceilings. Interior finishes include granite, marble, and travertine countertops; hardwood flooring; stainless steel appliances; and travertine and marble bathroom floors and showers.
Located on the corner of Birmingham's historical Highland and Niazuma Avenues, 2600 Highland was designed to complement the established residential area. The exterior of the building features brick, stucco, limestone, and a slate roof - building materials found on many of the historical homes in the Highland Park area.
The building bears on a deep foundation system consisting of 53 drilled piers ranging in depth from 46 to 11 feet and has a post-tensioned concrete frame structure.
