North Shelby County Library
The project encompassed a new 35,000 square foot, 2-story building to house the North Shelby County community library. The building foundation consisted of spread footing and an extensive retaining wall. The building structure is structural steel with composite concrete decks. The roof systems are fully-adhered EPDM with a standing seam metal roof at the clerestory. The building skin is made up of Oneonta random rubble stacked stone with masonry face brick at the second story. The windows are glass curtain wall.
